To be eligible for the JMD EU4M programme, applicant must fulfil these minimal requirements:
The Joint Master Degree in Mechatronic Engineering is one of the very few Erasmus Mundus Master Courses that is not taught in English. Pursuing international students integration in the European way of life and aiming to contribute to multilingualism (defined as one of the cornerstones of the European project), lectures are always taught in the local language used at each EU institution. Thus, prospective EU4M students must be able to communicate in at least two of the languages used in the Programme.
At the moment of application, students must have at least a B1 level of the teaching language used in the country of their first study year; an A1 level of the teaching language used in the second country is also recommended.
Additionally, survival Russian and basic Arabic is required for students coming to ISPU and Nile respectively. Although lectures will be taught in English in these institutions, everyday life out of their premises is likely to use the aforementioned languages.
