The Hochschule Karlsruhe Technik und Wirtschaft (HSKA) is a state-owned institution of higher education founded in 1878. It is located in the region of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, at the border of the river Rhine and near France. It has strong international links with USA, Canada and India. The university has a long history of cooperation with international institutions to offer double and joint degrees.
As a University of Applied Sciences HSKA closes the gap between research and application by close cooperation with industry and close cooperation in the theoretical part with research institutions especially with Institutes of KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technologies)

The École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques de Besançon is located in Eastern France, in Franche Comté. Research is made in these domains particularly in Microsystems, Micromechatronics and Microrobotics in the FEMTO-ST Institute, which has receive a very positive evaluation by the AERES agency (A+). ENSMM is a partner in the Polyméca network in France and it is involved in numerous joint educational and research programs with institutions around the world. It has particularly strong links with Switzerland, Brazil and Japan.

The Nile University is located in the west of Cairo, by the river Nile. Nile University represents the EU4M window to Africa and the Arabic area. It is the first in a new class of academic institutions in Egypt that embraces partnership with the private sector (represented by an NGO: The Egyptian Foundation for Technology Education), the government (represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology), and industry in a major initiative of great national and regional interest. The Ivanovo State Power Engineering University is a significant power engineering institute 300 km north east of Moscow at river Volga. The University has got several research departments, such as the scientific centres of energy and efficiency, IT and ACS, ferromagnetic liquid, biomechanics, vibration monitoring, mathematical modelling, electronics, business innovations, education quality control systems.
